ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY 

As MOGUL Tekstil, we adopt an environmentally conscious and sustainable approach to the production of nonwoven and composite fabrics, in line with the nature, scale and environmental impacts of our operations. In accordance with our ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, our Integrated Management Systems Policy, and the Zero Waste Certificates held at all our facilities, we accept it as our fundamental responsibility — together with our employees and business partners — to protect the environment, use natural resources efficiently and continually improve our environmental performance. Accordingly, we commit to:

  • Fulfilling applicable environmental legislation and other obligations,
  • Protecting the environment and preventing pollution at source; reducing waste, emissions, discharge, leaks, spills, noise and other environmental impacts,
  • Using water, energy, raw materials and natural resources efficiently; reducing waste generation and developing reuse, recycling and recovery practices,
  • Identifying and effectively managing environmental aspects and emergency risks using a life-cycle approach,
  • Assessing climate change-related risks and opportunities and supporting efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions,
  • Taking environmental and sustainability criteria into account in design, purchasing, production and supplier evaluation processes,
  • Enhancing the environmental awareness, competence and participation of our employees and business partners,
  • Providing the necessary resources to monitor our environmental objectives and targets, and continually improving the effectiveness of our Environmental Management System and our environmental performance.

This policy provides a framework for setting environmental objectives and targets; it is communicated throughout the organization, its understanding and implementation are ensured, it is made available to interested parties, and it is periodically reviewed and updated as necessary.
