ENERGY POLICY 

As MOGUL Tekstil, we accept it as our fundamental responsibility to manage our energy resources efficiently and sustainably in line with the nature and scale of our operations and our energy use and consumption. In accordance with our ISO 50001 Energy Management System and our Integrated Management Systems Policy, we base our approach on the continual improvement of our energy performance. Accordingly, we commit to:

  • Fulfilling applicable energy legislation and other obligations,
  • Monitoring our energy use and consumption, effectively managing significant energy uses and reducing energy losses,
  • Providing the information, data, technology and resources necessary to improve our energy performance,
  • Setting energy objectives and targets, monitoring them through performance indicators and regularly evaluating the results,
  • Taking energy performance into account in design, investment, purchasing, production planning and operational decisions,
  • Supporting the purchase of energy-efficient products, equipment and services that affect energy performance,
  • Evaluating energy efficiency, energy recovery and renewable energy opportunities together with their technical, economic, environmental and social impacts,
  • Taking climate change-related risks and opportunities into account in our energy management processes,
  • Enhancing the energy awareness, competence and participation of our employees and business partners,
  • Continually improving the effectiveness of our Energy Management System and our energy performance.

This policy provides a framework for setting energy objectives and targets; it is communicated throughout the organization, its understanding and implementation are ensured, it is made available to interested parties, and it is periodically reviewed and updated as necessary.
