A spunbond PP technology consisting of extruding polypropylene polymer into continuous filaments which are thermally point bonded. Due to excellent fabric formation and its isotropic properties it is preferred for many technical and industrial applications.
The point bonded structure with fine fiber sizes of 1.8 to 2.2 dtex makes it a versatile filtration media for those application that utilize polypropylene such as coolant applications for aluminum and steel mills. Additional filtration applications use it for a support layer in many composites with meltblown or nano fibers.
