Spunlace Nonwoven Fabrics

The spunlace nonwoven fabrics from Mogul  are the perfect combination of softness, strength, and versatility, and are designed for use in personal  care as well as industrial applications. Produced by hydroentanglement, our spunlace fabrics are made  by entangling staple fibers using high pressure water jets to make a durable textile-like material without binders  or adhesives.

Our spunlace is produced with different types of fibers such as viscose,  polyester (PET), polypropylene (PP), cotton, Tencel, and PLA. The  fibers are carded and laid either in parallel or cross pattern to achieve desired mech properties and texture.

How Spunlace Technology Works

Spunlace, also known as hydroentangled  nonwoven, is made by appliyng high pressure water on a web of loose fibres. The mechanical bonding  process of this fabric entails that the fibres are locked together to produce a uniform, soft, and  lint free fabric. Unlike the traditional woven or knitted textiles, spunlace provides the advantages of  nonwoven structure while offering a smooth hand feel and good performance.

Because there is no chemical binder,  spunlace is a clean, hypoallergenic and highly versatile material for sensitive and demanding applications.
