Mogul has been listed among the “Top 40 Nonwovens Industry Companies” in the global ranking published annually by Nonwovens Industry magazine. The list, which highlights the world’s 40 largest nonwoven manufacturers, is updated each year based on the previous year’s sales performance of the companies.
Mogul Highlights Sustainability in Nonwoven Production
According to Nonwovens Industry magazine’s annual “Top 40 Nonwoven Companies” list, Mogul has once again secured its position among the industry’s leading manufacturers. The company’s sales reached USD 113 million in 2024, demonstrating steady growth and resilience.
Focusing on value-added and niche products, Mogul continues to accelerate its innovation and sustainability initiatives. Within this framework, its R&D Center in Türkiye is developing new products across seven platforms based on different technologies.
Innovative products such as Madaline Microfilament, which offers a leather-like feel, and Durell, which provides bi-component puncture resistance, stand out across apparel, home textiles, industrial, and protective applications. In addition, Mogul is expanding its sustainable product portfolio with Repreve nonwovens made from eco-friendly raw materials such as bio-PET, bamboo, flax, and hemp.
Our CEO Serkan Göğüş emphasizes that market demand for sustainable products is increasing and that regulatory developments will further accelerate this transformation. Meanwhile, carbon and water footprint measurement studies have also been initiated, reflecting Mogul’s commitment to driving transformation in both production and product portfolios.
Producing Nonwoven Fabrics for Multiple Industries
Mogul demonstrates its success in nonwoven fabric manufacturing through its wide range of industry-specific products. By developing value-added materials, Mogul serves a diverse set of industries — from industrial to medical — with its leading product groups such as Mopet, Buffalo, Durell, and Aqualace.
In response to declining demand for polypropylene spunbond and spunlace fabrics in the domestic market, the company is focusing on growth in strong markets such as North America and Europe. With 28 years of manufacturing experience and robust technical infrastructure, Mogul continues to maintain a solid and trusted reputation in these regions.
Among its recent investments, the bi-component (PET/CoPET) production line, commissioned at the end of 2024, stands out as a key development. The company also operates meltblown technology lines, which offer significant opportunities in filtration, automotive, and insulation applications.
Despite these opportunities, the industry continues to face challenges such as fluctuating raw material prices, high investment costs, and quality consistency. Mogul, however, maintains a balanced approach in spunlace nonwovens, effectively managing market imbalances caused by excess capacity.
Broad Application Areas and Sustainable Practices
Mogul’s spunlace technology is not limited to wet wipes — it also shows strong growth potential in medical, hygiene, household, and industrial cleaning, as well as personal care, technical textiles, and filtration.
From surgical drapes to cleaning cloths, and from technical textiles to automotive surfaces, Mogul leverages its R&D strength to transform nonwoven fabrics into value-added solutions. The company aims to minimize its environmental impact through energy-efficient production systems.
By manufacturing nonwoven fabrics from recyclable raw materials, Mogul enhances resource efficiency while promoting environmentally friendly production on a global scale.
This approach reinforces Mogul’s identity in the global market as both an innovative and responsible nonwoven manufacturer.
